These are the terms and conditions and particulars of the Animal Welfare League New South Wales Fundraising Raffle game conducted in support of the charity’s work for animals with Insight Holdings Consolidated Pty Ltd.

The Animal Welfare League NSW has created this Art Union game to support its work delivering harm prevention, welfare, and rehousing services for animals across NSW. Animal Welfare League NSW (AWL NSW) is authorised to fundraise in NSW, registered with the ACNC, and holds an Art Union Permit from NSW Fair Trading to conduct this game.

These rules have been adopted by AWL NSW for the conduct of this Art Union. In these conditions, the Raffle purchaser, contact, or entry holder is referred to as “you,” and AWL NSW and InsightCFS are referred to as “us,” “we,” or “our,” as the context requires.

Entry purchase options: AWL NSW Art Union is open to single-entry buyers and ongoing Animal Ally supporters.

All the particulars and dates for the game are contained in the table of particulars above.

Entry Sales and Payment: Entries are sold in bundles. Payments can be made at the time of purchase, on receipt of our invoice, on our websites, or by monthly payments in advance by automatic debit on an agreed date. You may purchase entries more than once.

Winner Notification: Winners are notified by phone, and Art Union results are published on our websites.

Purchase Options and Payment

Entry Purchase: Entries can be purchased online or during telemarketing and entries can be purchased at awlnswraffle.com.au and via My Charity Raffle at mycharityraffle.com.au/awlnsw. If a non-bundle payment of less than $40 is received for an Art Union, entries are $5 each.

Payment Methods: Payments can be made by credit/debit card, cheque, cash, direct debit, or digital wallet (including Google Pay or PayPal). Direct Debit, BPay, and PayTo payments must be received at least one week before the draw date to ensure your entries are included in that draw. Payments received after this may be allocated to the next available draw.

Validation: Entry numbers are validated and sent to you by email or mail after payment, or for ongoing purchasers, draw entries are allocated before each draw based on the monthly payments received before each draw date. If your paid entry cannot be entered in a draw, you will be entered in the next available Raffle. AWL NSW accepts no responsibility for late payment or payment not received for any reason.

Your kind support can always be put to good use in Animal Welfare League NSW’s work for animals. To make that possible, we will notify you if we intend to provide additional entries paid for with an increase in your Animal Allies support. If you do not wish to participate in that notified increase, please let us know before or after that change occurs. We will not increase your support within 6 months of joining or any other increase.

At the time of joining, we hope you will authorise us to automatically increase your support by up to $5 each month which will occur on the anniversary of joining the Animal Allies.

Payments falling on a weekend or public holiday may be submitted the day prior or the next business day, and declined payments are retried within five days without notice to you. To ensure you are entered, we may seek payment from an alternate payment method where that has been provided to us. Where funds are received as a donation or a minor sum is deemed to be a donation, and the amount is $20 or more, a receipt is issued. AWL NSW holds ATO tax-deductible gift status for amounts over $2.

You may purchase entries on more than one occasion, and you may be offered bonus or incentive entries. In the course of any AWL NSW’s fundraising campaign, we may offer you additional entries with an AWL NSW entry purchase on specific conditions, for example, Trade Promotion lottery rules, to promote an AWL NSW Art Union alone or together with other charity fundraising games. You may be offered entries as an incentive to a purchase, or entries may be allocated to you if you are already part of the same group of entrants.

As part of its sales and promotion work for AWL NSW, InsightCFS allocates entries as part of the purchase of other promotional products with mycharityraffle.com.au. In compliance with regulations, neither InsightCFS, the promoter, nor their employees participate in any raffle game under these rules.

Eligibility

AWL NSW Art Union Entrants must be Australian residents or able to receive prizes in Australia.

Age Requirement: Participants must be over 18. We take care to sell to adults who understand the purchase and can provide payment. We will award the Prize to the selected entrant. Where a purchase is made by a young person, to someone inclined to irresponsible gaming, or to a vulnerable person, we will happily refund the entry purchase sum if that person has not been part of the draw. We are unable to make refunds after a drawing in the absence of exceptional circumstances.

Winning Conditions: A winner may win each of the prizes in each Art Union’s draws. Draw numbers are not “exhausted” if they win a Prize (i.e., Animal Ally Supporter prizes) but are voided at the end of each Art Union.

The AWL NSW Raffle draw and interim draws of the Animal Allies prizes takes place at 2.00 pm on the scheduled date by Insight Holdings Consolidated. The draws are conducted using a random number generator.

Prize Collection: We will telephone, email, or write to you to confirm that you have won a Prize and how it will be delivered. We will take reasonable measures to locate you and award the Prize. We will ask you for identification and ask you politely to promote our work and the Art Union win.

Unclaimed prizes will be notified on the Art Union website awlnswraffle.com.au, and a new draw for a new winner will be conducted 21 days from the date of placing the notice on that website. If we cannot reach you or you do not respond, the Prize may be regarded as unclaimed. You have 21 days to claim or collect the Prize, or it will be treated as abandoned. Winners should respond to attempts to contact them to claim their prizes before the cut-off date.

You can update your contact details and address by calling 1300 564 049. The entry holder is responsible for ensuring the contact details we hold are correct and up to date.

All car prices will be supplied new in the most current model available. All cars have automatic transmissions and include delivery and these on-road costs (stamp duty, registration, and compulsory third-party insurance). (Not included, but we recommend purchasing comprehensive insurance.)

All prizes are subject to availability from the car supplier at the time of the draw. Car prizes are ordered at the start of the lottery, and the delivery is subject to availability and delivery constraints beyond our control. The make, model, and RRP of the aforementioned car are correct at the time of printing.

Animal Allies – Ongoing Monthly Supporters

The most effective way to play in AWL NSW’s Art Unions and provide ongoing support for our work is to join the AWL NSW Supporter Club. To join, simply accept our invitation on our websites or the phone and start and continue to pay $15, $20, or any other chosen sum each month toward the next occurring draw. You will be in the major draw for each Art Union and be in (four) monthly draws for $1,000 drawn on the 7th of each month of the Art Union. Winners who are resident in Victoria may only receive stored value cards with a reputable retailer. The Animal Allies club members are allocated entries based on the total amount paid in the relevant period no later than two days before each draw and during the Art Union period. By agreeing to support AWL NSW in this way, you authorise our service providers to automatically debit your payment card or nominated bank account on a nominated basis. You may cancel or amend your support level for your AWL NSW Animal Allies membership at any time before the next payment.

Changes to the Draw

These Art Union conditions that amend or provide for rules outside the mandated rules are subject to change and correction. Please check these conditions from time to time. Significant changes will be identified at www.awlnswraffle.com.au

To protect the operators of the Art Union from any cause that may imperil the success of the Art Union, we reserve the right in our absolute discretion to cancel or postpone any draw or the series of draws, to recommence them, and to change the Art Union game including by refunding payments in undrawn Art Unions, changing the Art Union rules, altering the prizes or changing the Art Union draw schedule. Those steps may occur in the event of the interference of an outside agent or event in any manner that adversely impacts or hinders the sales processes, the revenue objectives, or any other part of the conduct of the Raffle, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, pandemic, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, nuclear war, invasion, or strike. Any change under this clause will be notified on our Art Union website www.awlnswraffle.com.au

Nothing in this clause limits or alters your rights to consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.

Fundraising services are provided for AWL NSW by Insight Holdings Consolidated Pty Ltd. (ACN 111 803 475) Suite 5.02, 241 Commonwealth Street Surry Hills NSW 2010. Phone: 1300 733 757. Art Union management, telemarketing, prizes, advertising, fulfilment, merchant fees, additional authorised approved vendors, and other administration costs are paid by Insight Holdings Consolidated.

Management Restrictions: Our management and staff are not permitted to enter. Paid promotional contractors such as social media influencers may enter and participate in draws.

Promotional Images: All images used are for promotional purposes only and may not represent the actual Prize described in these conditions.

To provide information about the draws, seek your support for Art Union participation, respond to your requests, contact you and offer your goods to purchase and administer your participation in draws for prizes, Animal Welfare NSW and InsightCFS collect personal information at websites including awlnswraffle.com.au, via email or other communication, via social media, in person, and over the phone.

Funds raised from AWL NSW’s Art Unions support animal welfare work in New South Wales. Banks, mail fulfilment, and other suppliers receive your information to provide services. If you do not provide contact information, we are unable to include you in the draws or provide our services. Data we receive is kept securely in an encrypted form in secured, backed-up servers. Data may be located overseas in passing or in secure servers located overseas where data remains under Australian privacy standards even if processed or stored temporarily offshore.
